Ah,... forum spammers.  I hate them with a passion.  I have tried to launch 3 forums now and all of them were destroyed by spammers before I could get them off the ground

I had some guy in Nigeria (based on his ip) offer me $5000 for a desktop computer that was worth about $100.

I told him meet me at the McDonalds on 12th street in San Diego in an hour with cash.

He didn't write back right away, so I followed up and asked if he would be there.

At least he had the courtesy to write back "NO."

My reply was too bad, because there were two plainclothes police detectives that wanted to meet him.

Never heard from him again.

But those spammer scammers can be sneaky...another one from Africa somewhere contacted me showing an ip address of cupertino, ca - not far from apple headquarters. Very slick.

The old Nigerian scam...it never grow old:) i have had people apparently from Nigeria contact me through email and told me that they have a huge heritage that they need help with to get out of the country...The only thing i had to do was to give away my bank account number and some other vital information...And guess what...he did not get help from me
