I've been getting pop-up ads when I visit chess.com lately. Here's one. I know chess.com needs ads to pay the bills, etc,but pop-up ads are pretty annoying.
Use Firefox. It'll block them for you.
A 30 buck subscription is also an easy birthday present for your spouse, so, parents, etc. to get you.
I haven't seen any ads so far. As marvollosity says, use Firefox with NoScript addon and you won't see any ads.
if I don't visit chess.com I won't see any pop up ads. ??
It's not so much the pop-up ads, its the ads that surround each page.
Oh well.
In FireFox use adblock plus. Or just use chrome.
