Hi, I am thinking about the queen in chess.

Why is there a queen in chess? I thought, you know, everyone was not treated equally...

Chess is like war, what can a queen do in war ._.?

... I just has no idea why queen has such strong power over others... combination of rook and bishop~...

In original chess the Queen was not all powerful. Her moves actually resembled what we would now call a weaker bishop. She attacked just two squares diagonally. Afterwards, a chess variant known to some as "Chess of the Mad Queen" became more popular than the original and it is the variant we all play today. I sometimes wonder what made her so mad. Hell hath no fury as a woman's scorn!
