queen sacrifice followed by mate

I want to share a game where I open up w/ a queen pawn opening, reach a comfortable position, my opponent is forced to castle opposite of myself, I use my a-pawn to disrupt his pawn structure, place my knight on the vital e5 square, double my rooks attacking his king, and he's forced to defend with his knight. That's when i sacrifice my queen which he takes obliging me to checkmate.

i want to know when i post a topic about mindless jabber. My threads flood with opinions and responses, but when i post deep, intelligent, well played game of chess not a soul has a thing to say

When he blocked his queen with his knight, he was in deep do-do. Nice game and creative!  I can understand your frustration, but you have to understand this is a chess group, there minds are unpredictable, say something stupid, and you may get 100+ hits like you said.

Nice basic, and obvious queen sac that works against beginners, but wouldnt work against anyone decent.

Wrong category to post this in. This is not general chess discussion and I suggest you move it before a mod does.

    3. cxd - if White plays d4 c4 Black can defend/counter with d5 e6 or e6 Nf6 or d5 c6 etc but d5 Nf6 allows White a slight lead after 3. cxd Qxd5 (...Nxd5 4. e4) 4. Nc3 Qa5 5. Nf3/Bd2

    6. Bd3 - although Black's Bf5 has escaped his Pawn chain, White's light-squared Bishop is arguably the better piece, 6. cxd (Be2 dxc 7. Bxc4 loses tempo after the inevitable retreat back to e2) exd 7. Be2 is much better

    13. Qd3 - will probably win a Pawn but I think Qb3 is better after ...c6 14. Ne5

    15. Nxg6 - possibly the better move but I would have played Qxg6+ causing Black huge problems after ...Qxg6 16. Nxg6 Rg8 17. Nf4 Ne7 18. Ne6 Kd7 19. Nc5+ Kc8 20. c4

    19. a5 - c4 is probably better to open the c-file

    20. Rfb1 - didn't make a difference in the end but Rab1 would save tempo after the typical Rfc1, and also deters a Black counterattack on f2

    23. Qxa6 - nice find, your analysis is correct and White should convert the exchange to a Win

@unratedgamesonly i would suggest establishing a rating b4 predicting who my queen sac would work or wouldn't. for your information once i made the queen sac i wouldn't care if you were a grandmaster the position is lost

Like i said in my original post, it was a nice sac.  Im simply pointing out it wont work past beginners.  I was in no way knocking it.

@zrylam your suggestion of rab1 i disagree with. my goal is to double my rooks on the half opened b-file attacking the vulnerable b7 square. it makes no difference whether i choose to play rab1 rb2 rfb1 or rfb1 ra2 rb2 i get to the same position in the same amount of moves.

@unratedgames i know it wouldn't work pass a beginne but there's only 1 way to stop the mate once i made it and i put it in my analysis. i also show how white still wins after the black chooses the best continuation. did you even look at my analysis at move 23?

@tryst are you saying i had an empty ego in the past, because if you are this couldn't be furthest from the truth

@unratedgames. What the hell are you saying that anyone passed a beginner would spot the queen sac. I've come to the conclusion you have no clue what's coming out of your mouth.

I think I have to agree with unratedgames. It was not a difficult sac to see. I just played a similar one a few days ago.

I don't want anything to do with the truth, bolshevikhellraiser. The truth is for pot-smoking hippies. Your ego is like a wonderful morning mist, guiding us through a locust plagueLaughing
