Are the informants online or are they copyrighted still?

I was looking at issue 42, 1986 and it showed this game with about the hardest move to find on move 23:

Who was doing the editing at this time? Matanovic?

I actually have that issue, and yes! It's Matanovic as editor.

They're not available for free download (as far as I know), but you can buy the electronic versions (pgn, Chessbase, and Chess Assistant formats) from Informator's online store (if you've got the bags of cash they're asking for).

Yes, all the Informants are under copyright protection and there is no legal way to get them free.
