Rating points loss in unrated game

Played an unrated online game with a friend and lost, which is expected since he's rated over 500 points higher than me.  But my rating dropped 3 points, even though the game was unrated!  Is this normal?

No, but the game in question (55257176) is recorded as rated.

Artfizz, look again. I just looked at the game, and it is clearly marked as unrated. Oddly, I checked MangoMike's profile, and sure enough, his rating dropped from 1319 to 1316. Perhaps this should be reported as a bug.

The name of the game is 'unrated' - but it's rated.

artfizz is right, that's just the title.  Click on the "Details" tab, it is rated.

Sorry, I only looked at the title!  My friend started the game and sent me the challenge.  He named the game, and since our games are all unrated I never even questioned it.  Appreciate your help...

Some 'friend'! It looks like a sneaky way to gain points. Wink

I doubt very much that it was a vast conspiracy to get three rating points! Human error seems a much more reasonable explanation.
