  When I've accepted some challenge, I'd suppost to win a few points in case of draw because my opponent had a better rating than me. However, when the game was finishing I had a better rating than him and I actually lost some points by drawing. Is that correct? I thought that ratings would change based in what they were when the game was started.

The best way to get a good estimate of your rating is to calculate it based on the most current information. That is your rating and your opponent's rating at the end of the game, not the start.

Just click at "show rating adjustment" during play and you'll see what it's supposed to happen in case of win, lose or draw.
