Return to World Championship Tournaments?

    Do people have strong feelings about whether FIDE should return to some sort of tournament system to pick a candidate to play against the current world champion? It seems that any sort of system would be better than just making things up as you go along, which would be an uncharitable if not entirely inaccurate description of FIDE's approach recently.
