I was looking through my stats and I saw that my games as White were a good bit longer (about 10 moves) then my games as Black. Also, my won games were longer then my lost games (due to resigning?) Same for everyone else? Any theories?

My games with White are a tad short than those with Black, but perhaps not statistically so. (30.95 vs 31.52)

My won games were much shorter than my lost games (21.3 vs 27.15).

So, my results are opposite yours. So, this is either due to natural variation or some subtle factors that are different between our skills and play. Doubt we'll ever find out.

It can't be the same for everyone because for every game you play as white, someone plays the black side.  On the average (over the entire pool), and by necessity, the number of moves in games played as white is the same as the number of moves in games played as black.
