analysis of a 1 min game is pointless nameno.
I think you just proved why this idea of yours is useless...
Unless this will work in OTB games at longer time settings, no one cares about the new gaming mouse you bought, or the fastest modem on the planet...
okay then don't use it when I post it. But it is useful in OTB play as well when time is a factor.
any "system" or "method" just don't really cut it for chess. They have their pro and con of it and it will only last for a short term. To be good at chess, you only need 3 things 1, play otb a lot with some blitz 2, study hard and well (correctly) 3,and have fun. ps there is no short cut to improvement.
From studying your games a bit, I have watched you make moves that aren't so obvious. They are positional. They keep the games close to a draw. You hurry and move, never put yourself at risk. Some people play wild and reckless, taking chances in blitz. You don't, you force your opponent to think and make a lot of moves. I would most likely employ the same stategy.
The only other thing I can think of, is if you are befriending a small click of better players and they are agreeing to lose to you and to make it look good. If so that would constitute a form of cheating.
So if you are going to give us a tutorial on how to play safe, unusual, defensive position chess for the bullet games. I had already thought of that. It is still a matter of connection speed, equipment, reflexs, etc.
If you want to impress me. Do this in live games, not one time, But make it go up 250 points a day for 3 days straight and then youl'll have my complete and total attention. If you are able to do that and you aren't looking for customers, then you are either really nice, or maybe the guys in the other thread were right about good chess players not always being very intelligent.
I thought I'd share this with you since you are so bent on ratings. I figured out how to manipulate the chess mentor to say I have a 2003+ rating...But the problem with that is, I probably would only beat a 2000+ player 1 or 2 games out of 100, so does the rating on my profile make me play any better?
Well, you know...Happy...that game in #75 is not too shabby. It reminds me of about how I play...nothing spectacular but not too shabby, either.
The only real difference that I can see is that I might play something like that in rapid or blitz, but you do it in bullet. Good for you.
Seems like the point is "he who spends too much time thinking"...seconds, even, is more likely to lose (ceteris paribus).
BTW...the only reason I (as well as others, I suspect) leaned on you was because you were baiting people...virtually requiring them to beg you for what you had to say.
If you still can't see what is wrong with that, then it is hopeless to explain further.
he said it better than I did.
Chess mentor and live chess are two totally different things. Also I've played a cross section of over 50+ games today with an average rating opponent of 1800...my winning percentage was over 65%.
Also I wouldn't call my play defensive. I would call my style thoughtful and striving to not blunder pieces in quick.
Again. I will make the video and give my tips..and I hope it helps people.
Indeed. Add another request.
The comments about mentor and live chess were in two different posts and weren't meant to be juxtaposed as if I had used them to make a bad comparison about one thing. That is why they aren't in the same post. I was making two totally different points. So trying to make it appear as if I made an apples to oranges comparison when I didn't is a rather unproductive way to either try to confuse me or anyone else who can read.
Trust me, I doubt I need any pointers from you that I am not already aware of. I noticed you coyly avoided the whole subject of applying your techniques to getting those same results you boast in live chess at longer time controls.
You also could be hand picking opponents by studying their games and preparing yourself by picking moves to really throw them off. It isn't rocket science. You didn't discover anything special.
In light of this, you might be able to help a few people to achieve what they want to, but I am sure it won't work for me the same because, I won't play bullet and I really don't want to play blitz, though I am ok at it. I have a totally different agenda. Your thread title seems to indicate that it wouldn't matter what form of chess someone preferred, it would still get them the same results, when it won't.

Confucius Say Never argue with a fool...he may be doing the same thing.
All i see is a fluke?
The only "skill" that is necessary is knowing how to make lots of premoves and having a good mouse.
Talking about yourself?
Take a screen shot of your behind, and send it to 100 people for comment, instead.
We might be more impressed by that.
Damn! I wish I had said that.
Laughing out loud!
Bullet makes me focus on my weaknesses. So the joke is on you.
Anyone desperate to raise their ranking [...] just to seem better [...] doesn't understand the whole point of playing chess (to enjoy it).
Sadly, most players here do not get that.
You are all miserable people. I was trying to start an interesting thread...all I got was negativity.
