How on earth can 33% of you think that having a separate title for women, "Could be demeaning to women".

I am quite sure that if you ask any of the woman that have this title they would not think so. But I really would like to hear why people voted for this.

it is easier to get the women's title, so some people think that this implies, that FIDE believes woman are not as smart as men.

I don't believe that is FIDE's intention at all but I understand those people's point of view about it.
