Sergei Movsesian moved into first place alone in the Corus A group thanks to a bit of help from Vassily Ivanchuk. Ivanchuk won his game against Sergei Karjakin, Wang Yue handed Alexander Morozevich another loss, and the other games in GM Group A were drawn.
