1.Rxf7 Bxf7 2.Ne6+ cant think any more, my head hurts...
To continue Streptomicin's line, perhaps 1.Rxf7+ Bxf7 2.Ne6+ Ke8 (2...Kg8 3.Qg7#) 3.Nc7+ picks up the queen.
I saw that!!!
But what if 1.Rxf7+ Ke8
please post the solution also..! otherwise, we cant check our answers..
I will give the solution after more people have had a chance to solve it.
1.Rb2 Qc4 2.Rb8+ Bd8 3.Rxd8 Ke7 4.Rd7+ Ke8 (f8) 5.Qf6 seems pretty lethal.
1.Rxf7+ looks winning.
1...Bxf7 is forced because if Ke8 then Rxe7+! is mate in three after Kxe7 and Qf6+. 2.Ne6+ eventually wins the queen as posted by marvellosity.
Yeah, I think that's correct although I still think 1.Rxf7+ is winning as well.
1.Rb2 Qc4 (Qxc5) 2.Rb8+ Bd8 3.Rxd8 Ke7 4.Qf6# is a little quicker still.
Gangstal seems to have it.
Rb2 seems like a easy win, black has to give the queen for to little material caue of his weak back rank.
No need for long calculations there.
