Maybe both of them didn't feel like playing the game anymore?

Probably they both held their position in the tournament with a draw, and did not benefit from a win.  Usually they make a bit more of an effort than this, but its not unheard of for high level players to run through their preparation, look a position over, and if they don't need the whole point for a good tournament outcome say "well, looks like a draw to me".  Its not much fun for the spectators, but I can understand it from their point of view.  If half a point keeps you in the money, why risk a loss?

lol, probably 10 years ago both wanted to call it quits Wink

this stuff happens a lot. they both might of just wanted a draw beforehand and set up the moves.. ususally they make more moves than 10 though

Other than Sofia scoring (wins count 3 points, draws 1, losses 0 in the tournament table, but as usual for rating purposes), it's hard to discourage players who wish to agree to an early draw.  There are many legitimate competitive reasons one might want an easy draw in a tournament, so it's not really fair to look at the game alone without considering the other factors.
