My favorite part of the video is when he takes a black pawn with another black pawn. :D lol.

lol i didn't catch that, ill have to rewatch.  Wait, isn't he promoting a pawn to a knight? Just in case you didn't know, promoting to a knight is HELLA BALLER. Only super cool players can pull it off.

I'll have to look again. To me both pieces looked like pawns. It was a quick cut.

OK. That's such a quick cut on the video that it's hard to see. The base of the piece he replaces it with is larger than the pawns. Pretty funny. I love opportunities to promote to a knight. It shows great vision by such a player.

Wow its hard to believe the number of chess enthusiasts that are interested or influened by hip hop... I see a few people dropping some names like main source and pharaoh monche... I guess i am in the right crowd.

I am a newbie as well  i think chess is a phenominal game which holds perfect balance and infinite opportunity... and as AMW had mentioned its striking similarity to life.
