Hello,
I have noticed playing live games with fast time setting, be it g/20 or 10 , creates a habit of not paying enough attention. I blunder quite often, and I may not be able get rid of this habit, if I don't start getting used to thinking slowly and more seriously. I know there is correspondence chess, and I always have 5-10 games going on there, but it has it's own shortcomings like not teaching anything about time control, and dealing with the stress of playing live.
I would like to play slow (G/60-90) live chess games, but I am hesitant about playing with people who accepts my offer randomly over the servers since my opponent can abandon the game, keeping me waiting for hours. I am sure there may be people who shares the same thoughts. Therefore I am looking for chess partners for slow time control games.
I am in the European time zone, and my live chess rating is around 1300. Your rating doesn't matter much to me. If you are rated way below than me, I can try to be helpful, if you are well above me, I would enjoy your after game analysis.
If there is anybody playing slow pace live games, drop me a line please.

Hi Hermes.
I would be interested in sitting down once in awhile and playing a 60- 90 minute game. It is hard for me to comit to a time but I shall look for you online on the weekends when I have the oppurtunity.

Hey! I just started a group for those interested in slow chess. I'm not sure how to make it work yet, but you sound like you might be interested in making it work? Let's grow this thing!

There is already a group called " Not So Fast " where we started to organize live chess tournaments. Focusing on two groups would take too much time, but of course every new group is a good addition to chess.com
Best Wishes
I never saw yours, and have joined up and am happy to run with the people you've already recruited. Mind if I post a link to your group in my recent posts about this new one?

i'm also in the group "not so fast" and would gladly play some slow live games from now and then with you guys
