I was just wondering..... My chess play has improved vastly but my tactics trainers has gone down the drain?  Is it just me or is there an explanation?  I used to be quite good in tactic trainer but it never seem to improve me in my chess play (maybe not understanding the paterns well enough).  However, when I improved my chess play, suddenly my tactic trainer solving abilities has gone.  I am quite bemused.  Is just me or is there anyone else? Is there any answer to this?

Your chess skills have improved. So in each position you see a lot of lines and possibilities.
Could it be that you see so many possible good moves and lines that you miss the obvious tactic moves?

The tactic trainer has been nerfed. Just browse the site, there was a recent article on site changes.
