Why am I finding harder to win against players rated 1100-1250 than to beat players rated 1250-1400?? Anyone have any insight on this?

i have one kass...i think that you think that a player with a low elo is more easier to bit him or her and you pay that with a lose...the only solution in your problem is to have the same respect with all of your opponents...

I think LOKROS has a good point. Perhaps you let your guard down a little. Newer(less experienced) players might make 'riskier' moves...maybe aware or not of consequences. You might be thinking 10 moves ahead, while neophytes might be thinking 1 move ahead and catch you inadvertently.
