Tactics Trainer AFTER update

Is it just me, or do the tactics trainer problems seem harder since the site update (note: I'm not complaining, its just an observation).  My avg rating in TT has dropped a few hundred points since the update, and the problems seem to have far less obvious moves than before.   I'd say its closer to what my real games are like....lol  Laughing

    Anyone else notice this?

lol maybe you shouldn't mention that site here, the staff don't like it

I have found the TT problems a little easier though with more ambiguous solutions since the update but just assume that is due to the randomness of selection

Hopefully they'll be weeding out some of the ambiguities. I got failed some days ago for mating the opponent in 3 when the problem was asking me to... mate the opponent in 4! Thankfully that's been removed since.

Also had some problems where my huge material win wasn't quite huge enough, or my mate was a bit too slow. It's extremely annoying to get the first 3, actually difficult moves of the puzzle to then be failed after the hard bit when there are two or three elementary mates possible.

marvellosity I agree with you completely though the staff is very responsive to any comments I have made about such ambiguity's and have corrected them though it cost me about 150 rating points which I hope will be justtemporary Smile. I think they seem to have added some new problems to their set and they will slowly have people correct them to make them better.
