I want to throw out a question to everybody.

Are there some experienced players who get a kick out of teaching chess to people who have a developed passion for chess?  Are there mentors out there who would give pointers blindly to a complete stranger?

If so, I am willing to listen to advice.  I think it would be great to advance in chess, but I don't play a lot of OTB chess, so I have to settle playing CC chess in an informal setting.

This doesn't just apply to me because I know a lot of strong beginners want help too.

Thanks, and I would like to here from the chess.com community.

My advice is, If losing bothers you in a non positive way, stop this immediately, and find another hobby!

Don't play for ratings, it may disturb your thought process!
