Telfort verses Arnolio

    I played him because I wanted to win some more points and he was rated 1000. His game was defensive but I was on attack in first match until he got me to blunder away my queen. He then routed my game to force the checkmate rather quickly. The second match was close but he was on offense most of the time and was able to again attack from enough sides to make me lose focus and blunder away my queen. He nearly mated me but time ran out before he could finish. All in all it was kind of embarrassing since he is a newby player and lower ranked. Next time, I'll be way more careful when I play him because I might have beaten him in both matches.

    So what? This is for general chess talk and we really don't need a self appointed monitor or policeman to decide what the rest of us can post or talk about! Don't mean to be harsh but MYOB!

    We are for sure not exceptional chess players, but we do think that your decision to give up minding other people's business is certainly the most intelligent thing you have posted to date. And we do thank you. lol

    So you talk about some game that no one can actually see on a public forum and now you're talking about people's intelligence? OK!!

    The least you could do is post the game so we can see it but I guess that would be asking too much...

    Excuse me, but your glib remark about us being  "exceptional chess players" was a thinly-veiled  shot at our intelligence, so don't get all bent out of shape if someone responds by giving you a good rancid dose of your own  medicine, Mr. Blog Monitor... And thanks, telfort, for giving the  posting policeman what he whined for..:-}

    Perhaps we can set aside our verbal squabbling and settle our differences on the chess board. You are welcome to join telfort and I and post results and discuss on this blog..To quote the late Rodney King..Can't we all just get along??"
