Hi, I've posted this topic before, in the tournaments subect, but that category doesnt seem to be that popular so I'm going to post it again here. 

I'm not going to start a new tournament but I want to know, what is the largest tournament that you've ever been to? this could be online, unrated, or any kind of championship. For me it would be the Iowa Grades Championship. there were about 400 people there.  Someone on my first first post (see The Biggest Tournament under the tournaments forum) said 1200.

 I know there are still bigger tournaments than that. The person having attended the largest tournament wins!

I was at the National Open, which had at least 1000 players and likely much more!
