There are 11 minutes left, and I cannot help but feel a sick helpless feeling. All of the entertainment and debate provided by this great person will be put to waste. Looking into the past, erik will delete all of cheater_1's posts, forums, and anything else created by cheater_1. All evidence will be erased. Woe to you, erik, the English Socialist. Two plus two does not equal five."

It has happened. His account is closed, all forums erased, all evidence destroyed.

a sad day it is... pretty embarassing that everything had to be erased... as if it never happened.  Certainly a day to remember.... a turning point of sorts.

He MIGHT return in a different account...

OR this whole thing was a publicity stunt to see how we would handle it.

I don't think it was a publicity stunt. One no longer can look at his threads, but I noticed in them an undertone of despair rising to the climax of a suicide. It seemed genuine. Death lasts forever. I do not think he will return.

Now there's an idea. Let's do a mass-suicide thing. We all delete our accounts, drinking the kool-aid if you will.

Yes. A group suicide in the reflecting pool in protest to the refusal of a tax-exempt status.

Or something along those lines, yes, or maybe because the end times are coming we we have been chosen to asend to heaven while all the heathens suffer on Earth.

Erik is the old revolver man. Cheater, the cowboy.

I said the joker is a wanted man
he makes his way all across the land
see him sifting through the sand

So I'll tell you all the story
'bout the joker and the thief in the night

He's always laughing in the midst of power
are we living in the final hour
there is always sweet in sour

So, we are not goin' home

Can you see the joker flying over
as she's standing in a field of clover
watching out everyday
I wonder what would happen if he took her away

What you see, well you might not know
you get the feelin' comin' after the glow
the vagabond is movin' slow

So I'll tell you all the story
'bout the joker and the thief in the night

All the people that you see in the night
hold their dreams up to the light
the wildebeest is searching for sight

We are not goin' home

Can you see the joker flying over
as she's standing in a field of clover
watching out everyday
I wonder what would happen if he took her away

I said the joker is a wanted man
he makes his way all across the land
see him sifting through the sand

So I'll tell you all the story 'bout the joker and the thief
I said, I'll tell you all the story 'bout the joker and the thief
I said, I'll tell you all about the joker and the thief in the night

this is a song by wolfmother. I couldn't help but see similarities between cheater_1 and the joker and the thief mentioned in this song.

That is correct. However, after a few months, very few people will remember him. Those few will be forced to go through the Ministry of Love...

(I have read 1984 too many times.)

Here is something I found, posted by erik.

he showed up one day on the site and is who he is. he doesn't break the rules and does generate some discussion. no harm done.

Erik, that is very true. Why can you not live up to your claims?

So I was checking the account settings on my profile just to see if one could erase a profile if one wanted and I could find no such option.  Does this mean Erik did in fact erase cheater_1's profile or is there something I am missing?

BasicLvrCH8r,

aye, but there was 24hrs to commit all his stuff to hard copy. Did anyone?  Na, probably not. Too many missed opportunities, less chat more action!

Yes, that is its name. CANNIBAL 37. I hope that he can continue to use it elsewhere. Too bad he could not use it to finish the game against the Light Force.
