The up-coming London Chess Classic 2011 on the surface looks competitive with Anand, Aronian, and Carlson.  I am convinced that Magnus Carlson will win the tournmament despite the presence of Anand and Aronian; two firece competitors. Magnus will eventually top the 2900 elo rating scale within two years-tops. Furthermore, I view him as the next true world chess champion; with all due respect to grandmasters such as Aronian, Karjachen, Topolov, and Nakamura.

This is what I think: Carlsen has won four tournaments in a row and it's about time that he fails to win one. Kramnik hasn't been playing too well in the strongest fields (Wijk, Kazan, Russian Superfinal, Tal Memorial) and I don't think he will win this time either. Anand will play solidly without impressing. The British players aren't good enough, and Nakamura hasn't played like in Wijk lately. So Aronian will win.
