"I think you overlooked THIS little gem!"

I yell out the window "^#!^$#%&^*", then I roll up the window and drive on.

What's "gem"? Can it by any chance mean "game" too?

Gem. A small prescious stone. Such as a diamond, ruby, or emerald.

    Totally depends on the circumstances.

Against someone I know well, I might make a smartass comment. In a tournament, Usually "Good game", or well, looks like you better than me - today.

I don't like to blame my losses on blunders, or claim brilliant calculations on wins.

It is chess, you win, you lose, and you draw. Sometimes it seems I can't see anything on the board, sometimes it seems like I can't miss anything.

I often say: voi hevonvittu soikhoon! and: ei tule helvettiäkään.

When I blunder I always say "Check Please" and I proceed to flip the board over.

I know exactly what you're saying. Except if it seems I played a game really well, I say something like, "its like Bobby Fischer's spirit was possessing my brain or something." Hahahahaha.
