It reminded me of my own experience MC'ing chess on local TV.  Although this version was even worse (which I had not thought possible) having a wastoid quality to it.

BTW, on the horizontal board, the one with 3D pieces, the bishops and knights are reversed.

I only got a few minutes into it before terminating.  Does it improve?  A knife fight perhaps?
