I am new to Chess.com.  The time controls seem geared for correspondence play rather than "real time" play.  Are most players at this site correspondence players?  The reason that I ask is that correspondence play really does not suit me particularly well since I would rather finish a game in an hour or two rather than over a period of weeks or months.  If I understand correctly, 1 move/day is the shortest time control, so my opponent could respond to my move and then sign off until tommorrow and be perfectly justified, and there isn't much that I can do about it?

Are there any plans to add sudden death G15, G30, or G60 etc. time controls?
