I attempted to join a tournament and was rejected because my time out ratio wasmore or less at 10 per cent.  What does that mean and how do I correct the problem to gain entry?

As you are a premium member you have auto-timeout protection as long as you have vacation time. Many premium members, not all, can finish 44 games of "online chess" without losing on time.

All Games
Total Games: 46
In Progress: 37
Timeouts: 9 (20%)

9 timeouts / (46 finished games + 44 additional games) = 0.1 = 10%

TadDude, Thnx for the reply.  I still don't understand.  A premium member is therefore disallowed entry?  What does current number of games have to do with the "ratio".  Kaiser

You've lost 9 games because you 'timed out', 9 games out of 46 is 20% of your games have ended because you didn't make a move in time. The criteria for your tournament is that you must have less than 10% of your games as timeouts.

TadDude's post is saying that if you want to bring you timeout ratio down to 10%, you need to play another 44 games without timing out. (win or lose)
