I'm heading to a tournament in Reno this coming Friday, and I was looking for some tips besides having cheats written on my arm with a sharpie. I'm not even looking for any chess tips, only psychological ones and what I should eat, drink, etc. It's also G/90 with a second time control at move 40, G/60. It may even be longer, I'm not sure because the site is down but in other words it is LONG. So time control tips would be appreciated.

I really like pasta with the meal.  If you have to stay up late, be sure to have a bunch of coffee or soda on hand.  Also, pretend like the time ends at 5 minutes left.  This will give you some extra time if you ever need it, while making sure you don't go too overboard.  Since the time control is so long, don't get lazy about your moves.  Come up with a plan and spend some time thinking about how to make those things come about.  Most of all, Have Fun!
