What happens if i enter a tournament but my rating changes out of the tournaments rating beore the tournament has started?

Official chess.com tournaments often have rating ranges:

3rd Chess.com Tournament (1201-1400)

3rd Chess.com Tournament (1401-1600)

If your rating changes between registration and the tournament start date, chess.com tends to move you to the appropriate tournament.
