Underpromotion

I was wondering if anyone can post of an example game they have played in which either they or their opponent have underpromoted a pawn. Despite all the games I have played or studied, the only time I have every seen underpromotion take place is in chess puzzles. Thank you.

I don't have any handy, but in MANY Internet games, I have underpromoted (usually to a knight, but sometimes a bishop) to prevent stalemating my persistent opponent when a queen or rook wouldn't work.  :)

Happened once. Black never saw it coming, nor did I until I was ready to promote. This isn't the exact board (can't remember exactly, sorry) but black's position was just like that.

 

The knight on D8 was promoted from a pawn.
