Is there a url where we can easily check to see who the champions are of each US state ? I noticed in a recent chess life that CA has two state champions : Northern and Southern, isnt this silly ? Do any other states do this ?  Why is it done ?

Yeah, the long and short of this is because California is so massive it takes days just to get from the bottom to the top and they have more players than any other state...I still think there should be one California champ though... even if they had the norther champ face the southern champ.  I've looked before too Reb and I think the only way to find out sadly... is through the specific chess association... seems like it should be a link on the USCF website.
