vacation

One thing I've noticed here is that back when I was a premium member, a platinum member you could go on vacation at any given time. I have just tried going on vacation and the thing said "Oops?! We noticed the following errors in your form:

To prevent abuse, you can only leave on vacation when it is NOT your move in any game.

Now then what happens if the person who needs to go on vacation has too many games going at once, and can't keep up with the other players he/she is playing in order to go on vacation? This set up seems a bit, well awkward if you ask me.

Premium members have the same restriction: they can only explicity set themselves on vacation when it is NOT their move in any game.

The difference is that they have TIMEOUT PROTECTION. The system will automatically set them on vacation as soon as one of their games is running low on time; this is applied to each of their games as it is about to run out.

But when I was platinum I could use the vacation even when it was my move in some games.

    I didn't realise that.

(There were the interesting discussions about Timeout Protection being unfair ...

I see. But they still got they're auto time out protection which is just as deadly.

I am pretty sure that I recently put myself on vacation when it still was my move in some games and there were no issues with it.

    That's absolutely what I meant.

Anyway, how come you are posting after having set vacation, surely that is poor etiquette and vacation abuse.

I never set vacation. If you had read my post right you would have realised this.
