i joined a tournament, now my opponent is on vacation. what will happen next? I think it is unfair that i will wait for 1 month. he should be disqualified right?

Vacation can be used for several days respite and doesn't have to be taken all at once.

Last week my mother died suddenly and I put myself on vacation for this reason. I do not think anyone should be penalised for unexpected events such as this.

Consider it a break- or even better time to analyse the opponents games to see what they will do.

Honestly, I feel it's a wrong and deceiving for members to be given this feature. Now, don't get me wrong, we all have it; except, premium members (gold, diamond and/or platnium) receive greater benefits like longer vacation timeframes. When in a tournament it prolongs the event from finishing and causes frustration amongst most including myself.

I'm fine with vacation time, however I feel restrictions should be placed on the length of continuous vacation time able to be used while a player partakes in a tournament. This way, it is still able to be used if something comes up, however it won't delay the tournament TOO long if the player decides to never come back.
