I am not trying to insult anyone, but just to bring up a general issue.

I play vote chess because it allows me to analyse the position, view toher analysis, and itneract with other people playing chess instead of sitting 1v1 starting at a chessboard in silence.

However, many people do not bother reading discussion and just vote for any random move that seems good. In addition, there is a great move that could salvage teh position, a few experts have posted it and the patzers jsut ignore it.

Is vote chess really what it was or am I jsut better going back to look-at-board-and-shut-the-fak-up chess, as boring as hell

You are right there is a lot of people who don'T cooperate.I like vote chess because it allows me to learn from others. I don't mind if some people aren't good at chess its just to take at least the time to read the discussion then you decide on the move. Even if someone does an unnecessary moves, I think it there is no problem as long as he reads what other say first.

The random draw offers and early resignations are pretty annoying, too.

Extremely technical equation / scientific explanation of vote chess and teamwork, in general: V.C. = Lvl. Skill < # of patzers = Dissolution of talent in the acidity of crap. Yeah...

now we have team voting games then simply set up your own group, only allow those in that agree to discuss before voting then find another group to play.

end of annoying problem

How do u make ur own team for vote chess?

The reason I play vote chess is so I can view many different opinions on openings, the differnent tactics and startegies people employ durning middlegames, and, most of all, how toplay endgames.

I find it very annopying patzers just come along and vote for .1. ... f6 or some other stupid move, it really spoils the game.

In addition, very, VERY few ppl read the discussion, as i receive almost no replies to my 1/2 hr analysis. I do it for fun, yes, but i find it really annoying when people overlook it and play a NON DECENT< SUICIDE move. If there was another decent move that I didnt like, I must admit, i would be "indiffered", but it is a vote chess game and that is what gives me the thrill.

Making a set team isnt the same as gettin random ppl.

I agree with you cheesehat, as a TD has the power to remove anyone from the vote chess but before that happen the TD will give a warning in the post to explain the purpose of the vote chess. To create ur own vote chess group I think u need to upgrade your member? Is that right guys ?

Paypal wont give back my money and i will never use online cash transfer from credit card ever again. EVER.

So there goes my vote chess team.

'

Anyway, making a team takes away the fun. You know hwat moves they will play, and unless it is a 500 ppl team it isnt general consensus and is just otb chess with 12 ppl.
