The Anand vs. Gelfand Match will be the 15-th WCC in Moscow.

Does anybody remember all WCC that were held in Moscow ?

Very nice. There were 2 additional WCC :

In 1948 Botvinnik won Match of 5 .

In 2002 Ponomorev got a title of WC.

With those two included it does become 15, even if 1948 was a tournament and 2002 was a knockout from the split period that isn't always counted among the World Championship matches. There have been some World Championships in Elista and S:t Petersburg as well so Russia sure has had its share of World Championships. As I suppose it should be in the most chess interested country in the world.

Or, in short, 15 is the correct number :-)
