I like the colour of money.

When it comes to jokes, my favorite color is off.  

Neither are technically colours, so... I pick ultraviolet.

Because I don't play in tournaments, most of the people I play in real life are significantly weaker than I am. As such, I'm happy taking the black pieces so that I'm forced to work for the advantage rather than having it at the very beginning.

I am not sure. I have just as much wins and losses playing on either color. You know the rules might change here in the United States. They might change who moves first . Under equal opportunity black or white should have equality. So It might be a toss before the game starts. What say you?

That would be perfect!  Then we could eliminate the coin toss to see who gets White, and just flip a coin to see which color goes first.
