Hey guys again!

So what does chess mean to you?

You are all in a chess community doing chess stuff so why do you do it?

For fun? For pastime? For improvement of skills?

Talk about it all here...

It's kind of a social thing actually. Chess is fun, but making teams is much more fun.

I like puzzles. Chess presents puzzles within puzzles. And, it's a series of related puzzles.

I never noticed before, the word "puzzle" is funny looking. Hope I speeled it correctly.

Chess is very big for me. I'm bi-polar, and chess enables me to focus my energy more and concentrate on something if my moods go haywire. I play for fun sometimes but most of the time I'm studying to try to become a better player to get my rating up, on here or on Chessmaster X

Its a pastime, something just for me. I love the competition aspect of it. I love the mental war between you and an opponent. I love the fact that it is something I will always improve at, and yet never master.

I take out all my frustrations out on my opponent, but alas sometimes it leads to more!
