So this is supposed to be an average because it says an average, but then why does my time seem to be adding up all the time? I have never ever seen this stat go down, but then shouldn't it be how much total time taken? And is this how much I think or how many hours it takes for me to make the average move (not counting when I'm actually looking at the game). So If you take a minute to move, you have an extra minute added I think but if it's an average why does it just seem to add on instead of average out? How does it really work?

Here is the explanation from the FAQ.

It is the average amount of time you make your opponents wait after they have made a move.

So is it just a coincedence that my time per move has never went down? if I made all of my moves today would it go down? I just find it weird. maybe it's because I have to move really fast for lots of moves since it probably took an average of thousands of moves by now.

You have completed 143 games times maybe 25 moves per game = 3575 moves.

3575 moves times 1 day 11 hours per move = 125,125 hours total.

I am afraid your average time per move will hardly be dented if you make a dozen moves today. It may even go up. Remember some of those games have been waiting for days already.

You will have to play every game where it is your move every day for months. Basically do not leave the site when it is your move.
