Hi everyone,

I was wondering what do you think would happen if IBM were to reconstruct Deep Blue and have Deep Blue play against multiple Masters where the Masters were allowed to converse and decide collectively which move to make?

Assuming a series of 10 games were conducted, what do you think would have been the final score?

Deep Blue would win every game (or perhaps, it would never lose.)  The hardware is faster than ever now.

I wonder how Deep Blue on original hardware etc. would fare against an off-the-shelf modern computer with Rybka?

It would draw... over and over and over... the modern GM is phenomenal, chess is almost perfect if I may say so myself.

what if Deep Blue had to play a correspondence game say where the time limit is 3 days. Assuming of course that IBM could Deep Blue without crashing for 3 days, what would be the result?

Do you think that Kasparov in his prime playing a series of correspondence games against Deep Blue would have done better than he did in the rematch?
