If Karpov just played on Chess.com instead of in the federation would be as good as he is or if Anand played here would he be number one in the ranking? Thoughts please?

Your question isn't clear so I answer a few.

When Kasparov was active (he's retired now) he was marginally better than Anand if that's what you're asking.  If Kasparov came out of retirement and played some correspondence with Anand who would win?  I'd tend to slightly favor Kasparov, but of course most likely would be a draw.  If either of them played here secretly, would they have the #1 ranking?  If they took it seriously, they probably would (computers lose much of their advantage in correspondence length games).  Would their chess.com rating be higher than their FIDE rating?  Yes, but again they would have to take it seriously.

i think that the human condition factor of OTB is a real consideration and its a rare person who is not affected by it in fact i think no one is not affected by it except maybe autistics

There is no reason to assume the relative results would change.  In years gone by, that would not be so much the case, though - several players were infamous for habits which tended to annoy opponents, particularly Petrosian who would tap his fingers or a captured piece, or kick under the board with his leg.

Others, like Nimzowitsch who was so sensitive to the environment, might have benefited somewhat by removing the physical presence.
