When playing in tournamant games over 2-4 hours, one of the most important parts of the game is how comfortable you feel. [edited by admin]

Opinions please?

I find the issue of what pants to wear secondary to the question of whether I can

loosen my belt while at the table. If I can all is good.

Oh come on Erik my original post wasn't that bad. If you check my other posts i've never resorted to swearing ( which by the way i'm not offended by, but realise others are ). It was just a silly post that was no more offensive than an episode of the Simpsons ( funny to adults, but over the heads of children ). I've seen a few uncensord f**ks on here. Have these been edited since?  The post looks bare now, i wish you'd have deleted all of it.

it was over the line. there were several complaints. :) i'll delete this thread if you like. it's a tough balance when you have lots of people with different values, etc, and we just have to use our best judgement.

Well thats fair enough if you've had complaints. The problem with international forums is is the double meanings or when one culture can be offended about something that other cultures wouldn't bat an eye at. I used the word fags in an earlier post and got slapped down, but in Britain its the most popular term for cigarettes. In America i can gather the words w____ and b____ are rarely heard, but in Britain they're both nearly as offensive as the ' f ' word.Perhaps some deliberation should be used before jumping to conclusions over whats deemed offensive and whats not regarding other nationalities moral standards.

Erik maybe you should have deleted the thread in totality because now my interest is sparked and I'm wondering what the guy actually said. I suspect I would have found it funny.

I can't really see how you and your team will keep up will the maintenance of the site, further development etc and acting in a sensor-ship/moderator capacity. It will be to much work. Maybe it's a good suggestion to look at how youtube got round this problem, ie the members can flag content that might be offensive???
