My common theme is realizing that the move I thought I had really thought about was really not so good.  This happens an instant after I click submit. 

When you've found a good move, look for an even better one".  One of my most favorite chess proverbs.  :D

Good advice

 Mine is almost like that. It's:

(accidental) sac, (accidental) sac, get mated.

I think I play very similar to the style described by Artfizz:

My favourite style is: Can't see anything wrong with that move. Oops!

"Fortune favors the bold- but then it's the talented's move, and..."

This best describes my chess: "Whoaa-I didn't see that coming!" or "With prayer all this are possible"-  after a dozen moves I'm usually desperately praying for a miracle
