What to do to become a grandmaster if coaching is not availible???

    Hey all titled and untitled players on chess.com....... I have improved a lot since i joined chess.com in June 2011.......i want to ask that where i live is a small city....so no chess coaching is availible for me.....and i want to become a GM.......so what i have to do now?? plzz anwser me.....

    @cullex- there is no coach around me in area of about 200-300 miles.....

    @Scott - remember this a forum where you can ask questions and get answers on your specific "issue" - there is no need to spam him with links to other posts and remember he is 11 years old and you are midt 20's.

    And it's also a forum where you can tell people to use the search function/a bit of common sense.

    It's hardly spam, he might find good info on improving. But there's a search function and also google where he could find information on chess coaching I'm sure.

    Honestly if you have to ask questions like this you'll never be a grandmaster. It makes me cringe how many people ask how they can be a grandmaster, it's an unrealistic target.

    people here discourages others......ok then....i was just asking....i m now concentrating on tactics trainer and every chess trainer i can find....thnx to all who helped me.... :)

    There is a difference between discouraging remarks and realistics ones. Really. Why is the GM title so important to you? Why isn't simply becoming a better chess player not enough? If you work hard enough, the titles will show up on their own accord.

    ok ok.....i am saying my LAST aim is to become GM....first i have to become atleast 1900+ rated player on chess.com....i know that......but i want to reach that last aim....and without doing aim between that like IM NM and FM etc i cant reach their...
