Well, when, where and why do you use your Queen?

I generally try to keep my queen to create threats.  The queen is especially effective at creating double attacks because she can attack in multiple directions.

I usually lose my queen after the third time I move her.  If I paid more attention to what I was doing, I'd be a much better player.

In reality, I try to use her after I've cleaned off some other major pieces.  When I bring her out, I'm pretty confident that I'm winning the game.

I like using the queen to put pressure and mess my opponent pawn structure. It's also great to break thru enemy defence.

It depends. If I'm playing a positional game (yes, I have started doing itSurprised) I keep her in reserve, affecting the game through her proxies (defending other pieces while they move about). When the board opens and/or the game becomes tactical, I activate her and move agressively against opponents weaknesses. ŽThis is usually late in the gaem, unless my opponent has blundered the opening.
