Which browser better for chess.com (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Fiiefox and etc)? I want to collect your opinion and publish them.

TheKeenEyedFalcon

I use Google Chrome.

baddogno

I've only tried Explorer and Chrome.  Chrome is better.

I don't know about which one is better for Chess.com, but from a security aspect, either Firefox or Chrome is OK. Using Internet Explorer is less secure, and you'll pick up more malware with IE.

Imdangerous

chess.com is complex in loading and programming then i use google chrome because it's graphical and fast!

SmyslovFan

Admin told me to use Google Chrome here. There are still problems with live chess, but it's better than the alternatives I've tried.

fianchetto123

Safari - works fine for me

fianchetto123

chrome is the recommended one though

Abel202

I use Chrome

KvothDuval

firefox

linuxed

Tor Browser Bundle.  Lately I've been using the version 3 alpha release and haven't had any problems.

chess_cake

I think Google Chrome is the best web brower for playing chess at chess.com.

Suvel

Obviously chrome.....although I sometimes play on my android table

kamuimaru

IE is useless except for downloading chrome.

All you guys that use Chrome must be as happy as I used to be.

Every time I used Chrome shortly it accepts some "Ads manager.com" this son of a gun post an ad that is controll by the "add manager."

The only way I can get rid of it, is to delete CHROME. I bypass all the question they ask why I am deleting it and I reload it and it works for a while until I have to delete it again. So now I use IE.

I always run CCleaner every time I shut down my laptop. It cleans everything in a few seconds. Anybody have the "ADD manager.com" problem?

I've asked Chess.com they didn't come up with anything but really weren't interested at all. It must be happening only to me when I use Chrome.

@DenverHigh,

Idk, maybe it's a tracking cookie? Have you disabled third party cookies in your settings? If it's already allowed, you'd have to block that cookie.

Either that, or it's some kind of malware.

TheKeenEyedFalcon

It seems Google Chrome has first rank!

I had the same problem at one time. The only thing you can do to solve it entirely  is to wipe your hard drive and re-install everything. Make sure to put the stuff you want to save on a flash drive. Or you can live with the problem by downloading and using Firefox.

ItsEoin

I used Firefox, but it had a glitch where I couldn't actually make a CC move. Now I use Safari, and I've never had any real problems.

Maybe it IS some nasty malware, but the first thing I'd do is change the browser setting to block 3rd party cookies, block any specific cookies for ad manager .com (if it already exists), and remove any unnecessary toolbars that you might have inadvertently allowed to be installed (like the Ask toolbar, etc.). If that didn't work, then try various virus removal tools. (Or wipe the drive if nothing else works.)
