Hmmm, Weaver Adams.
He was a great fan of the Vienna, but he later changed to the Bishop's opening. (or it might have been the other way around?)
He certainly had his 15 minutes, the Frankenstein-Dracula Variation used to be called the Weaver Adams variation. He was ADAMant (see what I did there?) that 2 Nc3 or 2 Bc4 were forced wins for White, but he is one of very few strong(ish?) players to have a better score with Black than White.
Of course, all this is from memory, and may be totally incorrect. Just yesterday I forgot my sister's burthday.
...forgot to mention, I have lost many games playing white!
