I have only recently been getting serious about Chess and a natural question is, " Who is the best player?"  I have heard Kasparov, I have heard Fisher, I have even heard somewon to say Karpov. Who?

Seriously though it's pretty subjective since it comes down to how you define the "best player". If you just mean highest rated then it's Garry Kasparov got the highest measured FIDE rating I think. If you mean something else there's already a whole thread about this.

As in who( Besides yourself) would you consider the best?  Personally I think Kasparov.  I have read his book " How life Imitates chess" and I have alot of respect for the guy.

i agree with sly on the chess.com tournament and Lenny Bongcloud of all people!?!?!? thats just weird. my votes on Kasparov for best player though.

This has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to burst a blood vessel in my brain. A much needed experience after a rather tough day.
