1. Ur likes r not whats always good.

2. If im losing then y would he offer a draw?

3. Stockfish and crittor gives me +1.9 for my position.

Is your game still in progress?  Uhm, I thought this site didn't allow computer use for ongoing games.  Do we have confessed cheating in the house?

HolyKing

I asked him how the ... was this a draw? He hasnt replied to it yet too.

Its just killing as i want to start new games and end this ...

Love how you completely ignored the question.  Is the game that you used Stockfish and crittor to assess at +1.9 still in progress.

If it is, that's cheating accoring to the rules here.  If you want to use a computer to assess the position, like whether it's winning for White or Black, go play on ICCF.

I am playing with a guy who goes online almost everyday but doesnt play his game against me in which im winning. Bad news is time control is 14 days. Why do people do this?

Then this is a good lesson for you to learn.  14 days a move is an excessive time limit if you're not willing to play a game that lasts a few years.

Sorry, i didnt see ur q thrillerfan

Actually i said that just for an effect on my words.:P

That makes it much easier.  Your opponent only has to report you for cheating and the game (and all your games) will be over.  You're very kind to offer the proof so easily and in a manner that cannot be retracted.

HolyKing

I dont care. I know that i ve not cheated and thats all that matters.

I once saw a forum last week telling that using positional analysers which gives which side is winning can be used in between games. And i saw no one saying that its unfair. Anyways ive not used it

I don't play games that take long! If I started it today...I'm ending it today!

I had a player realize they were giong to lose and so they started to wait till the last day to move.  I thought this was hillarious so I was going to play along and wait till the last day for my moves too... except I forgot about the game and lost on time on the very first move I had planned to wait lol.

Oh well, games like that are boring.  Even in live games if they start to stall in a dead lost position I've resigned before.  I couldn't care less about a trivially winning position and it's a way to immediately move on to the next game.

HolyKing

Thats what im hoping my opponent would do.

I was a noob though, it was my first time trying.

This guy probably has a lot of practice Laughing

People who chicken out are affraid to lose and not fair players! I played a live game where a player stalled right from the start, only made one move! It was in a tournament

The other day when I reached a winning position in a 10-min blitz game, my opponent had 6 minutes left and refused to move. I knew right away what he was up to, so I browsed the net and checked my email while I waited. When his time ran out, it froze at zero (indicating he pulled the plug on his connection), then suddenly he reconnects and it gives him all 6 minutes back on the clock! He then starts to let the time tick off again, only I knew how the system worked, and so I claimed win on disconncect. It awarded me the win on the spot with him sitting there.

This happens all too often when I play blitz on playchess. I'd say a good 1 out of every 5 or 6 games where I reach a winning position, my opponent becomes a sore loser about it and tries to screw with the connection and lags themselves intentionally.

It never happened to me where my opponent gets extra time but I must agree with the '' every one out of 5 or 6 games'' People need to lighten up! You learn in every game! (:

I tend to slow play a losing game when I'm winning in another (play all turn-based games) so that they'll finish nearly at the same time and will tend to balance each other out. Mathematically though, it really shouldn't matter. I suppose it's really just a psychological kind of thing.

HolyKing

The guy who s playing against has only one echess game, so he has nothing to worry. Hes unrated too. So accepting draw would be gain for him too.

If you wanted to play long games... then waiting time is what you''ll get

Yes its just psychology.

Jenium

Why would you want to pick such a long time control?
