Hey, I know it's completely off topic, but what would be the probability that if I type some random sequence of letters, it will have some meaning in English?
Try it and see what happens. Test 1 " ondsv ossjn ssoshdh dpop qpdn spdfjn shso shsish egep eoe psjsh aphoeh pahau psis apdh ddinf odfnnd ppksd ueysud osdjhsdu sidsd and how was your day?"

Maybe because everyone (I suppose) has all English letters on his/her keyboard. Imagine you would need to write in Slovene! And find now "č", "š" and "ž" if you can! (I don't have anything against CZ, I know they will beat us! :D)
Ubožšček! (Translation: Little poor devil)
no, i speak canadian.
americans speak american
british speak britainese
JK LOL this was not meant to be racist in anyway, just a little joke.
I was having a conversation with a couple of old-people, and the subject of languages came up, It was brought up in said conversation that english has become the global language of the whole-wide-world, so I said, thats actually because english is the natural language of the human being
one of them said, oh is that right?
becuz its the only true language/
English is the world dominant language
USA and UK
poeople who dont speak enlgish are usually enimeius of united states and like chess
humbleness breeds respect and trust!
that's Britain took the language to corners of the world long time ago.
when has it peaked: after it vacated the territories of other nations and gave them their independence freely and trained their elite to be the officials and teachers at schools so was English got to where it is today.
and that way it will stay but not with such words "it is dominant, super power and so on". no offense if you think so I did
When Britain ruled the waves and had colonies..The empire..The industrial revolution.. We were the center of commerce. So when other countries wanted a piece of the action, they had to learn our language,as we learnt theres, but when other countries went to do business with each other and as we did business with most they simply adopted one common language..ENGLISH.
They don't! They speak English.
I'm Usian, so
The roman empire was the same..Latin..Through assimilation and later catholicism the language moved to Spain n' Portugal and as Spain and Portugal had similar ideas of enterprise they sailed to the south Americas.Hence Latin speaking south Americans.
